Brooks Street
Plans for the reconstruction of Brooks Street are in the planning stages. In order to bring a sense of unity to tie this project to existing streetscape enhancements, it is suggested that this project maintain a streetscape theme somewhat similar in nature to
Gould Street(click) This level of effort would include enhancements such as colored concrete sidewalk at the intersection corners; brick paved sections; trees throughout the project length; neck downs at selected intersections such as Brundage Street, Alger Street, Loucks Street, Works Street and Burkitt Street; and historic functional/decorative lighting.

Miscellaneous enhancements have been implemented along the entire length of Brooks Street, mostly the result of improvements made by private entities.
The only enhancement to date within the street section has occurred at the intersection with Loucks Street. Colored/stamped concrete crosswalks (brick herringbone pattern, terra cotta color) have been installed to facilitate public use.
